Sectra, a major provider of enterprise and imaging center PACS, and its partner Southeast Imaging, headquartered out of Little Rock Arkansas will provide Sectra PACS, a comprehensive digital image management system, to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sectra will deliver all PACS software to UAMS and Southeast Imaging will provide implementation and support services.
The UAMS radiology department performs approximately 200,000 radiological examinations annually and has been digital since 1998. The new Sectra system will be integrated with existing UAMS information systems and be installed during the latter part of 2005.
Sectra PACS will enable the UAMS radiology department to implement the latest generation of digital film-free management. Sectra PACS will be integrated with existing UAMS information systems resulting in digital management of all orders, images and results. This creates a secure workflow.
Southeast Imaging is a full service provider of digital imaging products and services. The company distributes and supports Sectra PACS throughout the Southeast United States.
