New President of Sectra Communications BV

Jeroen de Muijnck has been appointed President of Sectra Communications BV and will assume his new position on January 1, 2010. Sectra is the leading European company of secure voice communications solutions and Sectra Communications BV provides Dutch authorities with products for encrypted telephony.

Jeroen de Muijnck has been office manager in the Netherlands since 2006 and has an extensive network of contacts as well as multiyear experience of the market, competitors and customers. He has a master of science in applied physics and has worked in the field of security and telecommunications for more than 10 years.

“Our operations in the Netherlands are growing and the country is currently a home market for us and one that we intend to continue to focus on,” says Michael Bertilsson, President of Sectra Communications AB.

In cooperation with the Dutch security authority, Sectra is developing user-friendly products for encrypted telephony. The personal voice encryptor Tiger XS from Sectra is currently used by all Dutch ministries and by the Dutch defense forces for secure communication of state secrets at the classification level Secret.

Sectra recently launched the voice encryptor Panthon, which enables European authorities to easily protect sensitive telephone calls from eavesdropping at the classification level Restricted. Sectra Panthon is pending approval from the Dutch security authority.
