Zero Administration Concept for Sectra PACS

In an enterprise, there could be several hundred Sectra PACS workstations. To install, configure or upgrade such an amount of workstations manually takes time and costs money. Therefore Sectra has introduced the "Zero Administration Concept" that automatically upgrades the software when there are new releases or patches available. The system administrator can install the new version once on a central server. As new users perform a login, they are informed that a new version is available. They can then choose to upgrade automatically or to do it later. The system administrator can also choose to label the upgrade as mandatory. In this case the workstation will be automatically upgraded the next time someone performs a login. All in all, the Zero Administration Concept saves a lot of system administrator time and cost.
