IDS7/dx is a comprehensive workstation for radiologists, designed to meet the radiology challenges today and tomorrow. Today, GB-size stacks are routinely captured in Multi-slice CT scanners and with the introduction of time-varying volumes for functional studies the TB level is approaching fast. Sectra’s technology* for retrieving and displaying image data of extreme size eliminates problems encountered in working with stacks containing thousands of slices. On GB networks, IDS7 is capable of visualizing 10,000 slice stacks within a few seconds.
Efficient performance over high-latency networks
Using advanced streaming, pre-loading methods and local storage, IDS7/dx enables efficient remote reading with full functionality from any location. The workstation is designed to handle variations in network quality and perform efficiently over high-latency networks, always allowing for optimized network usage during image distribution.
Results visualizing to the referring physicians
IDS7/dx features an optional fully integrated 3D rendering tool. The easy-to-use 3D functionality facilitates diagnostics by permitting an improved overview of data and results visualizing to the referring physician.
