A Sectra PACS user can now open a patient imaging study, right-click to open the Image Toolbox popup menu and select the “STATdx” tool. STATdx then automatically opens on the color PC monitor and presents example case images for all differential diagnoses relevant in this case, as well as precise and reliable text information about the disease, including Anatomy, Pathophysiology, differential diagnoses, example images and a lot more.This makes the Sectra PACS-STATdx combination a true point of care, diagnostic clinical decision support system unlike anything before.
Anatomy is the logical context for Sextra PACS/STATdx integration. Your PACS installation supports a set of imaging protocols, each with a specific anatomic context. Similarly, STATdx diagnosis and case reference data are organized with a comprehensive, detailed anatomy hierarchy. A one-time logical mapping between the two enables Sectra PACS to automatically launch an anatomically relevant search in STATdx.
