MedImage (MedView™ and 4D-MSPECT™)

Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT visualization

Nuclear Medicine Plug-In For Sectra by MedImage. MedView™ is a complex and highly interactive display program designed specifically for Nuclear Medicine images. With MedView you get the image manipulation tools required for interpretation of Static, Dynamic, SPECT, Gated SPECT, Results Screens and Whole Body (1024). MedView, as a dedicated Nuclear Medicine display program, is able to easily handle these complex and varied file formats that are not typically addressed adequately by programs designed for general radiology reading. MedView’s easy to use, intuitive interface, allows you to CINE, adjust contrast, change color tables, merge studies, volume render data, and much more.

Whether you want to see individual slices or a GATED cardiac CINE, MedView has every feature you need for the most definitive Nuclear Medicine image display possible.

Integration with Sectra PACS

As part of the Sectra Clinical Solutions Network, the MedView Plug-In gives you seamless and immediate access to all of your nuclear data stored in the PACS. You can select and display patient studies directly from the PACS database without having to wait for network transmissions. When placed on the Sectra workstation, MedView eliminates the need for an independent nuclear reading station and becomes an integral part to the radiologist’s daily workflow for reading Nuclear Medicine studies.

The MedImage Nuclear Medicine plug-in on our Sectra/Philips PACS Workstation has been a wonderful addition to our PACS reading station. There is no longer a requirement to maintain a separate monitor and keyboard with a supplementary nuclear medicine workstation. This has allowed us to free up much more space for other needed items such as books and easier access to our RIS workstation. Most important to our workflow is the ability to analyze all our nuclear medicine studies on a single workstation, allowing us substantial timesavings during the day. The MedImage plug-in has maintained the full functionality of the previous freestanding image workstation. A simple one-click operation on the Philips PACS allows immediate access to the new plug-in. All my partners have been delighted with the ease of use of the new plug-in.
