Designed to suit the needs of the technologist working outside the examination room, the IDS7/mqa is a comprehensive multi-modality workstation. Prior to an examination, previous images from all examination rooms can be quickly and easily retrieved and displayed which facilitates comparison with the new examination. Consequently, since technologists have full access to the complete history of the case, prior images and reports, they know exactly what images are needed and thereby avoid exposing patients to unnecessary radiation. This also minimizes the number of recalls.
Through close RIS integration, IDS7/mqa also presents detailed patient information and history, enabling the technologist to provide better, more personalized care.
If patient names do not correspond or if images have been incorrectly imported, the technologist can efficiently correct the information. IDS7/mqa also features stack tools and special permissions to correct default image settings.
