A future-proof solution
Sectra Open Archive minimizes costs and complexity if one of the connected PACSes is replaced in the future. The new PACS is simply provided with access to the storage, and no migration is needed since images are not stored locally. Combined with Sectra's solution for multi-disciplinary image management, even non-DICOM images can be stored within Sectra PACS.
By adding a sharing component on top of the central archive you will obtain enterprise-wide availability of both images and data. This way Sectra can provide both the advantages of central archiving and the benefits of sharing.
