Sectra RIS

Sectra RIS is an enterprise-class system that has been designed from the ground up to support the complex workflow, data migration and integration challenges of large multi-site health systems, as well as single site outpatient imaging centers, including the ability to customize fields and unique workflows. It has been used to manage radiology workflow of leading hospitals and imaging centers across North America for more than 10 years.

Billing preparation, validation and service

Sectra RIS improves revenue capture by insuring that the data submitted is both accurate and complete. A pre-certification worklist allows staff to keep track of the exams that still require insurance pre-authorization, and to enter authorization numbers.

You can reduce claim errors and improve revenue capture by defining the fields that are required at various points during the workflow, and what information is required before billing data is forwarded to the billing system. Billing messages can be automatically transmitted for exams that have passed the validation process, or you can require a manual review. Users can correct validation errors on billing messages that have not yet been sent, as well as review the diagnostic report and enter ICD9 codes.

Sectra RIS also captures the collected amount from the patient and payment method, and can integrate with insurance providers to confirm eligibility, and post the patient’s co-pay, co-insurance and deductible amounts.

Sectra also offers an optional Billing Service that takes care of all of your billing needs, including coding, Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) reporting measures, credentialing and collections.
