Sectra Radio Blocker
The Sectra Radio Blocker security pouch has been developed by Sectra in conjunction with the UK national information assurance authority CESG. Through CESG's Assisted Products Scheme (CAPS), the security pouch has been designed to allow mobile phones, laptops and PDA's to be carried on restricted areas where radio transmitters are not allowed.
Protection in restricted areas
Use of the Sectra Radio Blocker will increase the level of protection and efficiency of those with an operational need to have a mobile phone in restricted areas. The security pouch also dramatically reduces the requirements for the associated administration at site entry points at restricted areas such as Ministry of Defense or the security authorities.
Certified for use
The security pouch is made from a unique radio suppression material, which stops all radio signals in the mobile phone frequency bands to and from a mobile phone whilst in the pouch. As part of the process to be certified for use within the UK government authorities, the Sectra Radio Blocker has been extensively tested by CESG.
